Headquartered in Sioux Falls, Avera is an integrated health system with over 300 locations in 100 communities, serving nearly 1 million people within a 72,000 square mile footprint and 86 counties. As a health ministry rooted in the Gospel, Avera's mission is to make a positive impact in the lives and health of persons and communities by providing quality services guided by Christian values. The Avera Foundation facilitates the ability to participate in the ministry of Jesus, helping to meet the healthcare needs of the patients and families served by Avera.
