Beresford Community Food Cupboard and Services – Our main focus is to reduce hunger and food insecurity, promote health and well-being among many individuals who may need access to extra help with groceries. We offer a client choice setting to make any use of our facility comfortable and pleasing.The Beresford Community Cupboard is a multi-faceted facility that serves the entire community with a vast array of services that include: Healthcare Aids, Watch Battery Replacement, Dry-cleaning drop off, Book Exchange, City Information, Baby Gift Baskets, Welcome packets, Lions Eyeglass Drop Box, Box-Top Collection Box, Pop-Tab Collection Jar, Meals On Wheels Program ( Meals on Wheels was at risk in our community a few months ago and we were approached to help facilitate it because they were losing their site for pickup. We have helped the meals on wheels program grow from 4 clients to 12 regular and up to 15 at times).Our doors are open Monday through Friday 1-6 pm and EVERY Saturday 9-1. We are wheelchair accessible and visible on a main downtown location. We have 2-5 cubic freezers and have a new refrigerator. Our facility HAS 2 on site Food Safe Certified volunteers and is all volunteer site. We love our volunteers and love giving back to our community!
