23 Non-Profits Participating in #BrookingsGives

Statewide Day of Giving is Nov. 27

Get ready! South Dakota's first-ever statewide giving day kicks off at midnight on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 and continues until 11:59 pm that night.

What's a Giving Day? It's one day that non-profits can highlight their work, and donors across the state can celebrate generosity by giving to their favorite organizations. 

Twenty-three non-profits in Brookings County are participating and have registered with South Dakota Gives—the organization coordinating the statewide #ForSouthDakota campaign.

Brookings Community Coming Together for Philanthropic Effort

The participating non-profits in Brookings County are extending the South Dakota Gives campaign with coordinated efforts they are calling #BrookingsGives. Throughout the month, watch for volunteer spotlights and opportunities, plus more information from the 23 #BrookingsGives Non-Profits.

"We are excited about the way the non-profit community in Brookings is coming together for the Day of Giving," said Kelly Gibson on behalf of South Dakota Gives. "We're looking forward to following your collective work!"

South Dakota Gives will award donations and incentives to the registered non-profits from the South Dakota Prize Pool, a truckload of money donated from individuals, businesses and foundations who believe in South Dakota—and the future of our state.
