Butterfly House & Aquarium

The Butterfly House & Aquarium is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are the only public salt water aquarium in South Dakota and one of only a few butterfly houses that are open year round. We opened our doors in December of 2002 as a Butterfly House. In 2011 we added aquariums and have doubled our annual attendance and continue to grow every year! Your admissions and donations help support our mission of learning, healing, and celebrating nature’s beauty with tropical butterflies and marine life.
