Camelot Amigos Spanish Club

The Camelot Amigos Spanish Club, a project of the Camelot Intermediate School PTA, believes that the more that we can provide young students with positive educational exposure to the language and culture of other people, the better! Since foreign language education isn't offered by the Brookings School District until 7th grade, the Camelot Amigos Spanish Club gives the district's 4th & 5th graders an extra curricular opportunity to learn Spanish after school. A highlight of the program is the additional cultural classes, which feature different Spanish-speaking countries. Students have enjoyed tasting foods, playing instruments, listening to music, and learning about each special country.
