Introducing
Children's Home Society of South Dakota
Established in 1893, Children's Home Society is South Dakota’s oldest human services, non-profit organization. We provide emergency shelter and crisis intervention services, forensic interview services, residential treatment and education, foster care and adoption services, and abuse prevention services.
Many of those served are victims of domestic violence, physical abuse, sexual abuse, or extreme neglect. We also partner with caring parents and guardians to help children with emotional or behavioral needs.
Throughout all of our services, we empower children, individuals, families, and communities to be resilient, safe, healthy, and strong.
