Dakota Dachshund Rescue

Dakota Dachshund Rescue is a private all volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

We are a very small group of foster homes and volunteers who really love the little wiener dogs. We work together to rescue abandoned, abused, and unwanted dachshunds, including those that need rehoming because their owners just can't keep them anymore. We provide medical and behavioral care for each dachsie coming into our rescue. We do our very best to help them put their best paw forward as they prepare for the forever homes in their future. We also have a wonderful network of volunteers who help with the logistics of getting our adoptable dachsies to the loving homes they so deserve - wherever that may be.Dakota Dachshund Rescue takes every opportunity to educate those we come in contact with on the responsibilities of pet ownership, the prevention of cruelty to animals, and the need for pet owners to spay and neuter their pets.
