East Central Behavioral Health

East Central Behavioral Health Center is a non-profit community mental health center located in Brookings whose mission is to provide comprehensive, integrated behavioral health services that promote personal well-being and quality of life for all. The organization provides services to individuals, groups, families and couples.

One of the types of counseling offered is mental health counseling. Some programs offered for this are individual counseling; children, youth and family services; school-based services; and medication management. Another type of service offered is emergency services; these include clinicians available 24/7/365 for crisis intervention, assessment and safety planning.

The organization also offers chemical dependency programs. Clients involved in these have access to individual counseling, outpatient group, aftercare group, DUI classes and prevention education.
