First United Methodist Church Foundation Of Brookings

The First United Methodist Church Foundation of Brookings presents payouts to each of the nine ministries it supports throughout the year. The nine ministries the Foundation supports are: Camping Scholarships, Capital Improvement, Christian Education, Ministerial Scholarships, Missions/Outreach, Music Enhancement, SDSU Campus Ministry, Student Scholarships, and Worship Enhancement. The Foundation was established in 1994 from three generous donors within our church. Since then, the endowment has been growing from others that have started legacies within the foundation. Last fiscal year, the foundation paid out about $20,000 to the nine ministries and plan to pay out about $20,000 again.
