Kingsbury Cancer Care Inc.

Kingsbury Cancer Care Inc. is a non-profit organization that give a donation to anyone who lives in Kingsbury County SD and gets cancer while living here. All funding for this organization is strictly from donations. The Kingsbury County Cancer Walk is the only fundraiser held to support our giving mission at this time. It is held every other year with three towns taking turns hosting the event. We also receive donation randomly from community members and other entities . Since the inception of Kingsbury Cancer Care Inc in 2009 we have given 287 people in our county a donation to help support them as the fight cancer. We have also given money over the years for cancer research. This organizations mail goal is to help ease the financial burden people endure in our county after they have been diagnosed with cancer. Kingsbury Cancer Care Inc. has elected board of directors who hold a annual meeting every year and vote on the dollar amount each person with cancer will receive from the organization. Each person will receive that same amount of money paid to them as long as funding is still available. Also held before the board of directors meeting is the annual meeting of the membership of the Kingsbury Count Care Inc., everyone is welcomed to attend.
