McCrory Gardens

McCrory Gardens is a botanical garden and arboretum at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. Our mission statement: "Connecting people and plants through education, research, discovery and enjoyment of the natural and built landscape". We welcome more than 42,000 visitors to our 25 acres of botanical gardens, 45 acres of arboretum and into our one-of-a-kind Education and Visitor Center. McCrory is a year-round destination for hosting special events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions. We welcome SDSU students, staff and faculty, tourists from across the city, the region, the nation and the globe. Offering free and low-cost classes for the novice to the expert gardener. School tours, bus tours, and assisted living residents all come to experience this "Oasis on the Prairie".
