Introducing

My Neighbor

The mission and purpose of My Neighbor is to assist people/families in crisis and to promote self-sufficiency or return people/families to self-sufficiency; to extend help through information or qualified financial assistance and connecting those that need help (crisis help, short-term or otherwise) by utilizing the available resources, services and tools to help solve situations; to prevent this same situation from re-surfacing; to improve someone’s situation for the long term and in essence creating a self-reliant member of our community.

This can be accomplished by using the following tools: In-person assessment of current situation; Referrals and networking with area agencies; Coordinate immediate need assistance; Follow-up support and encouragement.
