Introducing
South Dakota State Poetry Society
South Dakota State Poetry Society was founded in 1927 to foster and encourage the reading and writing of poetry in South Dakota. Twice a year, SDSPS publishes Pasque Petals, the country's longest consecutively-published literary magazine. SDSPS also recommends the appointment of the SD Poet Laureate, holds poetry contests and awards mini-grants to members to promote poetry across the state.
