The Retreat at Pointer's Ridge

The Retreat at Pointer’s Ridge is a space designed for people of all ages to discover and nurture their own inner creativity, to explore nature, and to focus on sustainable living. The Retreat sits along the Big Sioux River in rural Southeast South Dakota, 10 miles north of the state’s largest city, Sioux Falls, and is being developed as a a day use, seasonal incubator for creative discovery. Here individuals or small groups will find a forum to collaborate on projects and build ties with guest artists, regional landowners and others in the surrounding community, both rural and urban. The Retreat is available for a wide range of exhibitions, lectures, concerts, workshops, and other activities to promote these social interactions.
